Install and start

What you need

Python 3.8 or higher. The app uses Flask, which installs by itself the first time you run it. On Ubuntu, run sudo apt install python3-venv first.

Steps

  1. Download the latest release zip from the Releases page.
  2. Extract the zip.
  3. Start it:
    • Windows: double-click START_WINDOWS.bat.
    • macOS or Linux: open a terminal, then run cd pcc_app, chmod +x START_MAC_LINUX.sh, and ./START_MAC_LINUX.sh.
  4. Your browser opens the app at http://127.0.0.1:5757.

The first run creates a desktop shortcut, and on Linux an entry in your app launcher.

Your progress is saved on your computer, in a local file.
